Adding & saving your Signature to CrunchSign

Last update on Sept. 15, 2014.

If you want to sign documents yourself, you need to store your Signature on CrunchSign. There are several ways of doing this:

- Draw your signature with a Mouse or finger

- Draw it with a stylus on a touch screen device (recommended).

- Take a photo of your signature with a mobile phone/tablet and upload it.

- Scan your signature and upload it (recommended).

If you choose to scan your signature, which we recommend, we recommend the following tips:

Sign in the middle of a plain white piece of paper.

Upload the scanned image (png or jpg/jpeg). Then drag the crop-frame over the signature to make sure it fits the space nicely.

Select the 'transparency' feature to remove the white background, leaving just your signature trace. For this to work well, there needs to be good contrast between your signature trace and the background.

You can change your signature whenever you want , so you can try it a few times to get the best result.

Remember - your saved signature is securely stored for reuse, so once you have got your signature looking just right, you can use it over and over again.
